I've updated the "about us" information, both here and on the realm forum. Any feedback?
We're definitely very hungry for new recruits just now, so I'm going to cross-post our recruitment thread to the RP forum.

Seems perfectly fine to me! Hope we get some new blood then. *grins*

Having reflected on last night's RP, I've come to the conclusion that the Rite of Sacrifice is too long when there's a relatively big group. Before last night we'd only done it with a maximum of six people or so. Now we're looking at 10-man raids, we need to make it snappier, maybe 20-30 mins RP time. The Rite last night was fun and interesting, particularly thanks to the disruptive presence of the Draenei, but it just ate too far into the time we had available for the more dramatic part of the story. So, I'll have a think and adapt the rubric, hopefully without losing much of the meaning of the Rite. Suggestions welcome if you get to it first; feedback also welcome if you get to it afterwards.

I've seen an episode of Ray Mears Bushcraft where he followed the Hadza tribe and later the Masaï tribe in Eastern Africa. Especially the part where the Masaï slaughtered a goat in a dignified way reminded me of WoM's ways. Here's a link to the part in the episode. www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nu8wva4WWoI think we could use a few bits and bobs from the Masaï culture. For example, they all wear special red clothes that are home to their ways. I thought we could perhaps wear special clothes during rites. My idea was to all wear white clothes since it resembles the white colour of Malorne and its symbolic how we are splattered in blood during every rite. Opinions, ideas? Discuss!

We'll see if we can use the colours thing, it's a nice extra detail.
Ray Mears sets my teeth on edge a bit - he's so, I dunno, so English, such a tourist, so insecure and patronising. Bah.

Hello there! I recently came across your guild's website, and to put it bluntly, I am simply astounded! I absolutely love the guild's concept and the way you seem to role-play night elves so strictly to their conservative roots. I have always been a great fan of the night elves from WC3 myself, so to see something like this makes me smile a whole lot. You have definitely convinced somebody who has been playing on a RP-PvP for so long, to finally make a character on a non-PvP realm. I hope to see many of you soon!

Nice to hear from you Shaelyssa! We use the kaldoreiRP channel a lot in-game along with a couple of other guilds and a bunch of individuals looking for roleplay; you're welcome to join it. I think myself and Vaelitha are the people to talk to at the moment if you have any questions that aren't addressed here on the website.

I am very sorry that I have been away for so long. I have been trying to catch one of your rites in-game, but a lot has been happening both in real life and on my other realm that I have very little time to play WoW at the moment since I am not well irl. I will be trying to move over my rogue though here and turning her into a nelf in the coming week or two, maybe .

Next event should be a rite this Wednesday. No levels needed.

Just writing here to note that I've reorganised the follower records so that it's easier to find the current members' profiles. I've also reorganised some of the posts in the Histories section, to consolidate linked stories into a single thread.

I've added a post to the "How to Roleplay" thread, on our expectations regarding members' OOC behaviour. Any comments?

Looks good, I'd add a note about DRAMA i.e. If it is suggested that your outfit may be out of place, or your mount is not suitable (Baron Rivendars mount IC, Wearing thick furs cloaks and hood on the beach), this is a reasonable comment, and should not be taken as a personal insult

Hm, well, in extreme cases that would fall into the "spoiling the nice friendly OOC atmosphere" category. Otherwise I'd think of this as behaviour to discourage rather than actually forbid. Everyone gets in a foul mood from time to time.
I'll see if I can add a note somewhere about constructive criticism, since we do that fairly often.
