Celegil and Aldrannath leave the Cenarion Guardians, each for their own reasons. Aldrannath speaks of his wish to return the Kaldorei to "the old ways, the Way of Malorne", and Celegil takes an interest in his teachings. They later meet with Salabadon, and the three of them agree to reestablish the old traditions, and call on their kin to honour them once again.

Aldrannath, Celegil and Salabadon meet in Auberdine for her induction into the Way of Malorne. They are accompanied by three other Druids Barshe, Celrior and Farel. Together, they bring an unconscious stag, that Celegil had captured earlier, to a remote island off the coast of Auberdine. There, Aldrannath takes Celegil into the sea and lets her drown. Aldrannath carries Celegil back to shore and revives her by kicking out water from her lungs and using Druidic power. After this, Aldrannath cuts the head off the stag and Celegil lets herself be sprayed over with blood after which she takes a bite out of the stag's heart.
The events are so brutal for Barshe that she retreats to a safe distance along with Celrior. After Aldrannath, Farel, Salabadon and Celegil ate meat from the Stag, Aldrannath welcomes Celegil into the Way of Malorne.

Farel undergoes the Rite of Tranquility and is accepted into the Way of Malorne as a Ranger. Celegil tells of the kidnapping of the priestess Kiva, and agrees to return to the Eastern Kingdoms to learn more of the cult responsible. Caliyen reluctantly agrees to return with her to the East. Farel and Liruel return to Darkshore, and set out to follow the omens leading them southwards.

Celegil and Caliyen set out to the Eastern Kingdoms. After a travel that takes three days, they arrive in Silverspine Forest. There, they investigate the site where Kiva was meant to be sacrificed. Caliyen, experienced with Cultists from her time in Stormwind, finds a number of clues and concludes that the cultists are unlikely to return. Together, they question a number of refugees at the Greymane Wall. They tell Celegil and Caliyen that they caught a cultist which was Night Elven female and also tells them that she was seen fleeing to Hillsbrad. Caliyen and Celegil set off to Hillsbrad in the hope of finding more clues.

(A lot happend last night, if I missed something Caliyen, give a shout ) Celegil and Caliyen head off to Hillsbrad in search for more clues. They question Barkeep Kelly who tells them he hasn't seen any cultists, though it was obvious he was playing dumb. The Barkeep tells them to question the people at the docks. Celegil and Caliyen head off to the docks and question a fisherman who tells them he has seen a couple of cultists, namely a Human woman named Sarah. He also tells them Barkeep Kelly does know more than it seems. So Celegil and Caliyen head back to the tavern. Barkeep Kelly plays dumb yet again but says they should take a drink. Caliyen, having dealt with Humans much more than Celegil, knows that Kelly wants money for his information. They decide to take an ale (which Celegil named 'Saberpiss) and afterwards, Kelly spills the beans and tells the cultists have gone off to the Wetlands. When Celegil and Caliyen finished talking with Kelly, they wend outside and saw a shifty looking female Night Elf with a green hood. Celegil questioned her but didn't get much information out of him. When Celegil and Caliyen saw her ride off with great speed, Caliyen decided that the two of them should follow her. They do this for a couple of minutes but eventually they lost the trail and returned to Hillsbrad, planning their next move.

An elder Druid attends Caliyen's Rite of Tranquility; Aldrannath asks him to seek out Farel and Liruel, and travel with them to the plains south of Ashenvale in search of the Druids who once lived there.
Aldrannath accompanies Caliyen and Celegil back to the Wetlands where the cultists are hiding out. They eventually find the Kaldorei sorceress who appears to be one of the ringleaders of the cult, and to have some influence over the other Kaldorei among them. They speak with the sorceress before parting; Celegil is frustrated at the "wasted opportunity" to kill her, but Aldrannath seems satisfied. The three return to Ashenvale via Dustwallow Marsh.

Celegil and Sentinel Maradith were on a patrol, acompanied by Salabadon, near the Shrine of Aesinna when they encountered Aldrannath in a distressed state. After speaking with him it became clear the cultists had struck again but hadn't done any damage. The only thing they left behind was a medallion. Aldrannath said it would be wise not to disturb the medallion but Celegil, thinking the medallion could spread a disease, thought it would damage the forest more if nothing was done. She ordered Maradith to throw a rock at the medallion which resulted in the tree being infected with Arcane magic and begun to spread quickly. Elder Aldrannath saw no other choice than to completely destroy the trees, causing a massive ammount of damage. Aldrannath returned to Celegil and Maradith who were hiding behind one of the pillar's around the shrine and was furious at Celegil. He said her ear should be bitten off for this but eventually he lead them go without any punishment. However, Celegil, having an immense feeling of guilt, decided to let herself be whipped.
A couple of days later, Aldrannath didn't show up in Astranaar to take everyone to the Shrine. Celegil, Caliyen, Liruel, Theronth and Caliyen's cousin Delenthia, questioned several people in Astranaar before Raene Wolfrunner told them Aldrannath was at Raynewood Retreat with Keeper Ordanus. The party travels there to find Aldrannath in a state of coma after they find out from the Keeper that Aldrannath asked too much of himself while healing the forest around the Shrine. Theronth and Liruel are asked to find a cure while Celegil, Caliyen and Delenthia head back to the Shrine.
At the Shrine, they witness a sad scene of destruction and sadness. The party talks to a Dryad who explains the treants are in distress and that her sister has passed into the dream. Delenthia tries to communicate with the treant but gets a swipe knocking her over. Celegil and Caliyen help her back onto her feet and finally find a way to calm down one of the treants by using the seed of it's father tree and plant it at the location where the Dryad's sister had fallen. There, the treant takes root and a piece of the tranquility is restored to the Shrine. A small step on the way to recovery.
Celegil, Caliyen and Delenthia then discuss what to do next. After a lot of argueing, they settle with contacting Salabadon and ask him to join them on their travel to the east to take vengeance on the cultists.

In a special Rite in Moonglade, Theronth joins the Way of Malorne as an Elder.
Aldrannath, having recovered from his fever, sets out for the East "to speak with the sorceress."
Aldrannath confronts the sorceress Telnys at her home in the East, and persuades her to explain her actions and the "faith" her human associates follow. They fight, and she appears to be defeated, torn apart in her ethereal form. Aldrannath remains in the Wetlands for some days, attempting to activate the swamp's hostility against the sorceress and her followers.

In the absence of Elder Aldrannath, Theronth and Celegil lead the Rite of the Hunt. While Theronth was the first Elder, Celegil was both the second Elder and the Young Huntress. After the small boar was killed by Celegil by using a heavy stone, Theronth ripped off its head and let the blood spray over her. Celegil then embalmed her hands in blood and blessed each of the attendants.
Afterwards, the attendants ate the meat of the boar and spoke about their hunt since the last meeting. Finally, Celegil and Caliyen spoke about the dragon in eastern Ashenvale but decided to wait with a judgement of what to do until Aldrannath returned.

Celegil and Delenthia take Aldrannath to see the Emerald Dragon at Bough Shadow in Ashenvale; with some difficulty they manage to sneak past the Dragonkin, and avoid a fight. Meanwhile, Salabadon is sent by the Circle on a mission to the Emerald Dream, and encounters the Nightmare there; with the help of his old master and of Celegil, he is able to escape, but is left weak and unwell.
Aldrannath confers with the Keeper Remulos, who confirms that the Dragon in Ashenvale has been driven mad by the Nightmare, and must be destroyed. With heavy hearts the followers of the Way agree to help gather a force capable of bringing down the Dragon. Aldrannath warns them that the Nightmare is stirring, and that this may not be the last of the battles they face.
At the Rite of the Hunt near Astranaar, the old, feral hunter Korlithil causes alarm when he announces that he has killed a dwarf hunter in Darkshore. The apprentice demon-hunter Tawyn arrives at the Rite unannounced, and is attacked and almost killed before the priestess Kiva intervenes to protect him.

Farel, Liruel and Celegil meet together in Auberdine. Celegil is suprised to see Farel again after he was absent a number of times during the Rites. Farel explains this has to do with him getting wounded from an Orc trap south of Astranaar. Celegil is disturbed by this news and asks Farel to take her to the place where he fell into the trap.
As Farel, Liruel and Celegil arrive in Ashenvale, Liruel announces she has to go. Farel and Celegil continue on their own encountering a number of traps before encountering a rotting Sentinel body close to the Ruins of Stardust. Celegil is shaken by the rotting corpse and prays for Elune to take care of the Sentinel. Farel notices an amulet which Celegil takes with her to return to the loved one of the Sentinel. Finally, Farel and Celegil go back to Astranaar but with many questions unanswered as of why the Orcs would set up traps around Astranaar.

Ilaana Moonwatcher (Celegil's mother) meets with Aldrannath, and expresses an interest in the Way of Malorne.
Karael becomes a Ranger of the Way of Malorne in the Rite of Tranquility near Auberdine.
During the Rite, Delenthia speaks very critically about Celegil's training expedition, but the others eventually persuade her to acknowledge her mistake, and she apologises for her over-hasty judgement and harsh words.
Caliyen's experiences in the Hunt are interpreted as a sign that the Dragon of Nightmare must be faced without further delay. The followers of the Way agree to gather at the outpost of Forest Song in a few days' time.
Celegil is appointed to command the followers of the Way in battle, with general approval. Aldrannath names her "first Ranger."

The followers of the Way gather to face the Dragon of Nightmare, only to find that it has gone. They agree to send out scouting parties to the other portals to the Dream, in the hope of tracking down the Dragon. Meanwhile, Aldrannath hurries to Moonglade to consult with Keeper Remulos.
