Any that have done the new quests in Hyjal will know that Malorne is very much 'back'. I did infact stand right next to him this morning, and got a blessing from him.
What I want to know is what everyone thinks of this development, and what you all think it will mean for us as Followers of his Way.

Deliaris will be confused. "So Malorne didn't sacrifice himself to the balance?, why do we then"

"Sure he did. Elune sent Him back to be with us a while longer. Same as you."

Having been away for a wedding this weekend, I still haven't had a chance to check out the new quests, so I don't really know the whole story with the new in-game Malorne. But please don't tell me! I'll check it out tomorrow.
Basically I think Aldrannath and his theology will be quite unperturbed. He'll go and pay homage to the Stag Himself, of course, but he'll still want to carry on hunting and reading omens and doing everything they've done until now. I think he'd take the view that the whole point of the Hunt and the omens is that finding the will of Malorne and the way to Elune is - and must be - a struggle, a mystery, and a voyage of discovery. It would be a massive theological confusion to think that the Hunt was just a sort of Dream-semaphore so the followers could get messages from Malorne.
Presumably whatever Malorne says in person will be gnomic and suitably vague; why would He hand His wisdom to Kaldorei on a plate? His Way and His example are all about teaching the Kaldorei to grow up and take responsibility for their lives, and to find and understand the way to Elune for themselves.
