As I didn't see any other topics about other games on the forum. I decided to make on.
Feel free to post your experiences and comments on other games, news and rumours over here. I'll be posting some of my chores and experiences here as I go through them. Might be fun if we sort of start a discussion on things. Also might keep the forum active too!
Anyway, to start of. This is the game I'm waiting for, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Just watch and be amazed. What do you guys think of it? Any other long time Elder Scrolls fans here? I've been one since 2001. Feels like an eternity now.
Make sure to double click the video. Makes it bigger.

PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. I'm getting it on the PC, because of the enormous mod support. Editor will once again be released on release day, like the previous Elder Scrolls titles. Oh and it comes out on 11.11.11

Grrr. I'd love to get it on PC, but I have a cruddy laptop which can only just run World of Warcraft. :/
What do you mean by mod support? As in something similar to World of Warcraft or some other way?

No. Its way bigger then that. For example, look on this website what people can actually do: www.tesnexus.com/downloads/categories.phpBasically. You can create an entire new game or story in the editor. The most extreme example of this is Nehrim, which was a German Total Conversion for Oblivion. There was an entire new world that was even bigger and more detailed then that of the base game. Oh and if you have a slow laptop, don't buy this game on the PC. Its a memory hog.

Whoa. This game is awesome. I think if I ever get a better laptop, or a computer I am going to get this game Although, for the meantime I'll have to stick to Xbox 360. What other games do you play?

I'm really a bit of a fanatic meaning I play loads and loads of games whenever I feel like it. However, the two that I play at the moment are: The Witcher 2: I know Aldrannath will be angry because this is a game based on a few Polish novels which is supposed to be a plagiarism of Elric of Melnibone of which Aldy is a fan. Anyway, its a PC only game because the graphics are absolutely amazing and an Xbox or PS3 simply can't handle it. I mainly love the great story and the mature settings. Its definitely a European production, not a Hollywood one. Fable 3: It isn't a great game, but its a typical British fairy tale with voices from John Cleese and Stephen Fry, you can't go wrong with that.

Only for manly menWhat would The Duke do? A) Ask Politely to be set down? B) Borrow jetpack from alien and fly away? C) Punch head off head, pilot alien torso through skyscraper, land safely on 25th floor?

Duke Nukem looks cool. Me and my sis used to play it on the PC my Dad kept under the stairs. Was AWESOME. PEW PEW.
I have seen something about a new mmo coming out from D&D set in the Neverwinter World. It's called (surprise surprise) Neverwinter. Might be worth watching out for.
Also - about The Witcher and it's supposed plagiarism. I've read both Elric and The Witcher novels (admittedly in an english translation) and I see only a few very tenuous resemblances. I personally don't feel that Andrzej Sapowski ripped Michael Moorcock off. But that's just me.

Never actually read Elric of Melnibone. The Neverwinter thing is supposed to be some sort of Neverwinter Nights online thing. If they keep it free like the original was, I'll definitely check it out. I love Duke Nukem! But..I fear this one is going to suck. Answer is C by the way.

Those games look awesome, I really want to get Fable III mainly because I've completed I & II. Are there really big differences between II and III?
The Witcher 2 looks really good as well, but yet on my cruddy laptop I doubt it would be any good, probably the laggiest thing ever!
One of my favorite games in Red Dead Redemption, mainly because it's a really good cowboy game and it has a wicked plot. I swear the ending was ;-;!

Being a PC only gamer, I haven't played Fable II as it didn't came out for that system. I do know that Fable III is very easy and very simple, even more so than Fable II. Don't expect a huge world, it is in fact very linear and quite tiny.

I just read PC Gamer and they gave Fable III on the PC a so-so review... marking it down due to a clunky combat system with delays in camera movement with the mouse and incredibly easy fights. They found it dull and boring with only a few things to brighten the play. I'll still probably take a look as I've been looking forward to it, but I don't expect to be moved too much by it unfortunately.
