Hi folks, just wanting to gauge other classes/peoples take on talent changes and new glyph system. Personally from my short lived experiance of it so far the hunter changes like focus and such is positive. Though I am lagging terrible and found an instance intolerable. I had a quick look at the feral Druid tree and it seems good with a self heal finishing move but I noticed the trainer doesn't have a lvl 85 ability as yet so we will have to wait and see there. So what do others think?

Just a further note on hunter changes, I don't know the real point of the new venom, it does seem to have replaced aimed shots old 50% healing reduced so perhaps it's pvp applicable( I haven't pvped this expansion). The new long cast aimed shot opener is back like in vanilla/tbc which I liked then so I am happy. Trap launcher for explosive will give us back some aoe which we dropped with no volley now but multi shot does seem to be good especially with the talents to put serpant sting on all hit targets. The new stables and call pet function seems great and overall I am happy with everything , focus will sort itself out soon enough as well I feel and meantime our pets health is huge so maybe some soloable instancing to be done just my thoughts:)

I'm pretty happy with the Hunter changes as well! As you said, Volley is a miss but if you take the bombardment talent in the Marksman tree its a very good substitute. I did a full clear of Black Temple last night and the DPS was about on the same level as I used to do. Some people are moaning that the DPS for hunters has gone down but I'm doing quite well, you just need to relearn some things. Especially the Master Marksman talent combo to get an instant Aimed shot is sweet. Also Kill Shot doesn't require any more intellect/focus so you can rack up the fire till the end and not be in danger of not having enough focus to fire of a final Kill Shot.
PvP is a little different. I took Survival like before the patch and it requires you to stay still for 6 seconds to get an AP/Agility buff. I like this but PvP is all about running around and avoiding hits. However, I think we just need to get used to it, and its also more realistic! Its like your character getting the aim right so he/she can shoot better.

I havent really looked at the druid talents.. just a quick fly through but it "looks" ok.
As for the rogue. Im still kicking bottom quite well and the self healing abillity has saved me a few times already. I think taking away alot of the talent points will make people the same and not much veriation with characters.

Overall I think it is working out pretty well. In reality, I could move about 3-6 talent points without becomming useless in most aspects of the game. With the current system I still have plenty of talents like heart of the wild, balance of power, genesis, whole first tier in balance and the abilities. Which I must have, but I can make a lot of choices. Fungal growth vs. gale winds vs. owlkin frenzy vs. faster nourish and healing touch vs. faster movement speed in cat and so on.

For Deliaris, rage does feel more interesting now, that it is more limited. I like the more limited feel to threat, it is also dps job to not pull aggro, (or just kite/off tank it, sometimes that is cool too) Rotation feels more boring, initially, but there is some stuff to play with. And I'll be getting more skills at later on.

Feral druid damage and scaling was buffed all over the board since 4.0 some more number changes. And bug fixes. smallest patch ever.
