Delenthia Cloudwatcher
Age: 178
A hunter who is at home in Ashenvale. A slender Keldori with leaf green hair. Always has a companion with her to keep her safe.
In the darkness a sound can be heard.. A wimper. And then there is an explosion of light, the sound becomes a voice “Ishnu-alah, dalah'surfal. Kene'thil surfas.”
And so it was that I saw my mother for the first time.
I grew up in a little dwelling in Ashenvale, it was a beautiful home and I was looked after by not only my mother but also members of our extended family, but it was good.
Time, as with everything, passes and like the trees outside of my window I grew. My mother and father took me out and taught me the ways of the forest and nature. It was found that I had a natural skill with the bow and so I focused on learning all I could to master this tool, for that is what it was. Not a weapon but a tool.
After some time I realized that some beasts of the wild could be trained as companions and so I came across Saber, my first and most cherrished of pets.
Mother spent more time in eastern Ashenvale, I would remember her washing the blood from her clothing, rearly it would be her own. “One day, Delenthia, you will be forced to fight. Orcs are here and they harvest the trees. They care not for the balance. They just take.”
I remember clearly my first encounter with the green skins. I was out hunting with Saber, and she suddenly stopped in front of me and went low. I hid just in time to see a group of Orcs marking out some trees to cut down.. I watched as they fell a tree and I rememberd feeling sutch hate. I waited until an Orc was far enough away before I let Saber attack. The Orc had the shock of his short life when Saber leapt at him. She managed to slay him but he let out a scream.. I had to think fast. I attacked, and with Saber the four Orcs were slain. I hid the bodys and moved out.
That day I took the long way around to get back home, being extreamly careful to avoid leaving tracks.
I told by mother of the encounter. I know she was sad, I could feel it. I think she wanted me to have at least a little more time to be unblooded but I did what I had too.
A few days later I started to venture out more and I would come home less and less. I was a protecter of the forests and do.. Did what I had too. And I knew my family would understand.
So now I do my duty.. Ana'duna thera
