Mystilia Whispermoon
Huntress
250 springs
Physical description:
Mystilia is of average height and has a slim but tough body.
She moves quite slowly but sometimes she can move quite jerkily, as if she was having some internal conflicts with herself.
Her voice is deep and she speaks rather slowly because she spent a lot of time not talking.
History:
Mystilia was born 250 years ago in a remote part of Winterspring to eccentric druids of the grove who lived in complete isolation from other Kaldorei. They weren't very good druids and were so peaceful they couldn't bear to kill any creature, choosing instead to live on nuts and berries.
From the moment of their daughter's birth, they decided that she too would be a druid and hoped that she would prove to be better than they were.
But as years passed, it became clear that Mystilia hadn't any talent for the druidic arts. She spent her time shooting targets with her bow rather than learning the druidic ways.
When she turned 150, she told her parents that she had chosen the path of the hunter and they were horrified; they told her that maybe it would be better for her and for them if she left home for a while. Deciding it was for the best, she left to live on her own in the woods.
Although she was quite young by Kaldorei standard, she was used to be alone and to care for herself.
She learned by herself the ways of the hunter though not as well as if she had had a master but the time spent practising made up for this.
After a few decades she began to feel lonely. It was at this time she found a silvery kit which she tamed and named Moonpaw. The kit never left her side and grew up to be a powerful ally.
Now that she felt she was a reasonably good huntress, she decided to return to her parents to see if they could accept her now.
When she returned though, there were only bones left of them and looking around she saw with her hunter's eyes they had died quite recently and that they had been eaten by bears, the prints left in the snow a testimony to this. She was puzzled to see that there weren't any sign of struggle, as if her parents had willingly given their lives. She was sad to have lost them before she could see them again. She buried their remains and decided to go back to her roaming in the woods.
So she lived for some times, with no one but Moonpaw, listening from afar to the rumours of the world.
That's how she learnt of the creation of Teldrassil, after some decades. She felt compelled to go and see it.
When she arrived in Teldrassil, she saw the corruption but also the beauty of the place, and decided to stay, so she could work at fighting the corruption of the great tree.
A few years passed, spent on helping Teldrassil as well as she could. Alextraza then came and gave her blessing to the great tree.
Mystilia barely got to enjoy the now clean Teldrassil as te Cataclysm happened shortly after.
With the world shattered, Mystilia wanted to find a way to help, that's when she heard of The Way of Malorne. She joined in and now fights to restore the Balance.
